Good governance is critical to Subiaco's future. Poor governance means poor performance. We need positive, respectful and trusting working relationships between Council and staff to be able to deliver the leadership our community deserves and needs.

Why me
-
I am a commercial and regulator lawyer with a postgraduate qualification in applied corporate governance. I have experience advising organisations on their internal governance and sitting on the Boards of not-for-profits.
-
Others may preach ‘good governance’, but I will actually do it, I know what it takes and I’m ready.

How we’ll do it
-
Draw on good governance practices across industry
-
Investigate tailored training through the Governance Institute of Australia, or the Australian Institute of Company Directors, for example.
-
Get Council and Senior staff genuinely committed to and acting on good governance.
